Q5: How often should my dog see the groomer?

A5: This depends on what breed of dog you have. Breeds of dogs such as Poodles, Shitzu’s, Schnauzers, Lhasa’s, Yorkies & Cocker Spaniels all should see the groomer once a month for a haircut, ear cleaning, nail trimming, sanitary trim and glands expressed.

Any dog that is in your home can do with a good bath & brush, nails trimmed and ears cleaned every few months to keep them smelling good and keep the shedding down.

** A good groomer will spot any potential health problems and alert you to the problem.

We have spotted infections, tumors and teeth & gum issues for our clients and have alerted owners to see their Veterinarian right away, this has saved some pets their lives.  Remember...your groomer sees your dog more often then your Veterinarian, our hands are all over your pet each grooming.**
